MyCase Partner

MyCase Implementation and Support for Law Firms

MHSB configures MyCase around one firm's intake path, case structure and communication norms, then supports the system under an agreed scope.

Standalone service

MyCase implementation and support is a standalone service. The engagement requires no other featured platform: a firm can engage MHSB for MyCase work alone, whether or not any other system is in place.

What MHSB works with

MyCase positions intake, case management and client communication as one system. Implementation work covers the intake forms and lead management layer, workflow automation for recurring procedures, advanced document automation with e-signature, the secure client portal for document exchange and messaging, and billing with online payment acceptance. 8am IQ for MyCase currently provides OCR-based discovery assistance, document summaries, case search, and writing assistance. The vendor lists firm analytics, intelligent insights, and intelligent automation as roadmap items. Published integrations include accounting connections such as QuickBooks, payment tools such as LawPay, and workflow services such as Zapier.

Evidence and partner status

The partner label shown on this page comes from a published evidence file that is the single source for partner labels on this site; the current label for MyCase appears in the page header and on the technology partners page, and it changes only when the evidence file changes.

Engagement modes

New implementation

A firm adopting MyCase, or moving from another system, is taken from discovery through configuration, data migration and go-live.

Optimisation of an existing setup

An installed MyCase system is audited against the firm's workflows; intake forms, automations and document templates are corrected.

Ongoing support

Post-launch changes and questions are handled inside an agreed support window with a defined response scope.

Method

  1. Discovery

Practice areas, intake sources, case types and communication expectations are mapped before any configuration is changed.

  2. Configuration

MyCase is configured to the firm: intake forms, workflow automation rules, case structure, document automation templates and user permissions.

  3. Integrations

Connections the firm relies on, such as email, calendaring and payment processing, are connected and tested against the firm's workflows.

  4. Reporting

Case analytics and financial reporting views are defined so the firm can read intake, caseload and billing without manual work.

  5. Training

Staff are trained on the workflows built for them, not on generic product tours.

  6. Documentation

The configuration, naming conventions and decision log are written down so the system survives staff turnover.

Workflows

Intake form to case pipeline Illustrative

MyCase client intake forms capture structured lead data, route leads to the right staff, and convert signed clients into cases with the correct case type.

Workflow automation library Illustrative

The firm's recurring case procedures are expressed as workflow automation rules: task assignment, reminders and status changes triggered by case events.

Client portal adoption Illustrative

The secure client portal is configured for document exchange and messaging, and staff workflows are adjusted so portal use replaces scattered email threads.

Document automation with e-signature Illustrative

Recurring documents are built as advanced document automation templates that merge case data and send for legally binding e-signature.

Capability statements on this page are limited to MyCase product areas verified in the MHSB source register during September 2026; see docs/repositioning/platform-sources.md (MyCase section).

Deliverables

  • Configured MyCase tenant matched to the firm's practice structure
  • Intake forms and lead routing rules
  • Workflow automation rules for recurring case procedures
  • Document automation templates wired to e-signature
  • Client portal configuration for document exchange and messaging
  • Reporting views the firm can run without assistance
  • Configuration documentation and a staff training session

Boundaries

  • MyCase is a third-party product; MHSB implements and supports it, and does not represent MyCase.
  • Support is provided inside an agreed window and scope, never as unlimited coverage.
  • Billing rates, trust accounting rules and bar compliance decisions remain the firm's responsibility.

Next step

A scoping consultation establishes the firm's current state, the engagement mode that fits it, and the scope and sequence of the work before anything is changed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does MHSB sell MyCase licenses?

No. MHSB implements and supports MyCase. Licensing is between the firm and MyCase.

We already use MyCase. Can MHSB still help?

Yes. Optimisation of an existing setup is a standard engagement: the current configuration is audited against the firm's workflows and corrected where it has drifted.

Does the engagement require any other platform?

No. MyCase implementation and support is a standalone service and requires no other featured platform.

Is data migration included?

Data migration scope is set during discovery. Contact, case and field-level migration from the prior system is quoted as part of the new implementation mode.
