Lawmatics Partner

Lawmatics Implementation and Support for Law Firms

MHSB configures Lawmatics around one firm's intake path, pipeline structure and follow-up norms, then supports the system under an agreed scope.

Standalone service

Lawmatics implementation and support is a standalone service. The engagement requires no other featured platform: a firm can engage MHSB for Lawmatics work alone, whether or not any other system is in place.

What MHSB works with

Lawmatics is a legal CRM built around intake and pipeline automation. Implementation work covers intake forms and the intake pipeline, pipeline stages with stage-entry automation, custom fields, e-signature for engagement documents, LMPay for payment collection, custom reporting, and the integration ecosystem around them. LM[AI] adds AI-generated content and analysis inside the same system. MHSB’s public integration guide library documents the Lawmatics connection to surrounding tools in depth.

Agency partner status

MHSB is a Lawmatics agency partner; any client terms that follow from that relationship are confirmed at engagement.

Evidence

Workflows marked Illustrative describe a configuration pattern; the remaining workflows describe Lawmatics configuration methods within the engagement scope. The partner label on this page comes from the published evidence file that is the single source for partner labels on this site. Capability statements about the product itself are limited to the Lawmatics product areas verified in the source register during September 2026.

Engagement modes

New implementation

A firm adopting Lawmatics, or replacing a prior CRM, is taken from discovery through configuration, data migration and go-live.

Optimisation of an existing setup

An installed Lawmatics system is audited against the firm's workflows; intake forms, pipelines, automations and custom fields are corrected.

Ongoing support

Post-launch changes and questions are handled inside an agreed support window with a defined response scope.

Method

  1. Discovery

Practice areas, intake sources, pipeline stages and follow-up expectations are mapped before any configuration is changed.

  2. Configuration

Lawmatics is configured to the firm: intake forms, pipelines, custom fields, automations and user roles.

  3. Integrations

Connections the firm relies on, such as email, calendaring, payment processing and document tools, are connected and tested against the firm's workflows.

  4. Reporting

Custom reports using pipeline and intake filters are defined so the firm can read conversion, source performance and follow-up compliance.

  5. Training

Staff are trained on the workflows built for them, not on generic product tours.

  6. Documentation

The configuration, naming conventions and decision log are written down so the system survives staff turnover.

Workflows

Intake pipeline build

Intake forms feed a staged pipeline; automations move contacts, notify staff and send follow-ups at each stage without manual work.

Custom field architecture

A custom field schema holds the firm's matter-specific data so reports, automations and document merge fields draw from one consistent source.

E-signature document flow

Engagement documents are built from dynamic Word templates with e-signature fields and sent through Lawmatics.

LMPay payment link flow Illustrative

Payment links and invoices through LMPay are attached to the intake and engagement flow so retainers are collected at the point of signing.

Capability statements on this page are limited to Lawmatics product areas verified in the MHSB source register during September 2026; see docs/repositioning/platform-sources.md (Lawmatics section).

Deliverables

  • Configured Lawmatics tenant matched to the firm's practice structure
  • Intake forms and pipeline stages with stage-entry automations
  • Custom field schema with a naming convention
  • E-signature document flow for engagement documents
  • Automation rules for follow-up and internal notifications
  • Custom reporting definitions the firm can run without assistance
  • Configuration documentation and a staff training session

Boundaries

  • Lawmatics is a third-party product; MHSB implements and supports it, and does not represent Lawmatics.
  • Support is provided inside an agreed window and scope, never as unlimited coverage.
  • Billing rates, trust accounting rules and bar compliance decisions remain the firm's responsibility.

Next step

A scoping consultation establishes the firm's current state, the engagement mode that fits it, and the scope and sequence of the work before anything is changed.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does MHSB sell Lawmatics licenses?

No. MHSB implements and supports Lawmatics. Licensing is between the firm and Lawmatics; any client terms that follow from MHSB's agency partner relationship are confirmed at engagement.

We already use Lawmatics. Can MHSB still help?

Yes. Optimisation of an existing setup is a standard engagement, and MHSB also publishes a Lawmatics audit versus build comparison for firms weighing that choice.

Does the engagement require any other platform?

No. Lawmatics implementation and support is a standalone service and requires no other featured platform.

Is data migration included?

Data migration scope is set during discovery. Contact, company and matter migration from the prior system is quoted as part of the new implementation mode.
