The single biggest driver. Clio 2024 reports an average lawyer rate near $341 per hour, from roughly $461 (corporate) down to $135 (juvenile). Enter the number your firm actually earns per signed client.

Clio 2024 found only about 40 percent of firms answered a prospective client call, and 48 percent were essentially unreachable by phone.

Speed of first contact strongly affects whether a lead engages.

How many times your team reaches out before giving up on a lead.

Only the current answer rate has a primary source (Clio 2024). Every figure here, including the dollar amounts, also depends on assumptions you can change.

How this is calculated

Each stage figure is the revenue you could recover by improving that one stage to its target, holding the others where they are today. The five figures add up to the headline. This is deliberately conservative: it values every recovered lead at your current downstream conversion and ignores the compounding you would get from fixing several stages at once. Full method and every coefficient are documented in the model.
